There Is Always a Last Time

Some say youth is wasted on the young. Maybe, however it seems to be that it would, in some cases, be wasted on the old as well. Life is a contextual appreciation of where you are, what you have, and what you cherish that you could easily lose. That understanding of potential loss heightens the appreciation of what you have.

Awareness of the last time you will hug your kid, the last time you will watch television with your wife, or maybe the last time you will talk to your brother, are powerful moments. Awareness and your connection to the reality of where you are and where you are going is essential to life decisions.

So what is awareness? ” It does beg the philosophical question "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" explores the relationship between perception and reality. While often attributed to George Berkeley, the exact origin is unclear, but the question gained prominence in the late 19th/early 20th century. This is very relevant for today as it focuses on the perception of if you did not hear did it even happen?

Some friends are shocked at what some independent media has said about the border, healthcare, education, Ukraine, migrant crime etc etc. Because if they never heard the sound they perceived it never happened. But independent media is getting stronger, and they are proving that the tree did fall in the forest and it did make a sound.

So when is the last time you will be able to speak freely without censorship.? When is the last time you can be certain the justice system is not biased? When is the last time you can be certain that your kid will get a good education and be safe at school? When is the last time you can be certain that your government will not get us into a foreign war for any reason other than our national security? When is the last time you can be certain that the drugs and foods our government is endorsing are truly safe? When is the last time you will feel safe walking the streets? When is the last time you can be certain that our elections are fair? When is the last time you can be sure our government takes care of our citizens before spending our tax dollars on foreign causes and foreign citizens? When is the last time you can truly feel free without your government monitoring every word, every purchase, and movement?

There is always a last time. When it happens, can be up to you.
