It’s a wild and wacky world on the internet. And how many times have you been confronted with a scammer and wanted to be able to fight back. Well some folks have. Below are some segments on scammers getting scammed. The last is more serious segments from Sean Ryan featuring Ryan Montgomery and his work catching internet pedophiles. The fraud found in Minnesota now probably exceeds 9 billion dollars and is a pretty good indication that this scamming problem both inside and outside of government is everywhere and grossly underestimated as a problem for all of us.
419eater.com is the website for 419 Eater, the world's largest and longest-running scambaiting community, active since 2003 (over 22 years as of late 2025).What is it?
This is Part 1 of a reverse-scam performed on a group of Nigerian email scammers by the scambaiter "Scam Patroller". He convinced the scammers that he was a record producer looking for new talent, and convinced them to rehearse and record a song and dance routine for him! This video shows the rehearsals and the final dance routine. Part 2 shows just the dance routine, dubbed over with a studio version of the song which the scammers were conned into recording themselves!
Scambaiting involves pretending to be an interested victim in response to scam emails (especially "419" advance-fee fraud scams, named after Section 419 of the Nigerian Criminal Code). The goal is to waste the scammer's time, resources, and money, preventing them from targeting real victims, while often creating humorous situations.
