Natural Immunity and the Definition of Vaccine
Segment # 007
This is a tough week for many first responders, hospital workers, and teachers that are at risk of being fired for failure to comply with vaccine mandates. There is no effort to educate only to bully and insult with coercive threats. If the case for getting vaccinated is so cut and dry, why is it necessary to compel. We are all different with different concerns that inform our decisions. Millions of people are realizing the choice to get vaccinated is anything but straight forward. The failure of the government to even acknowledge natural immunity if anything makes us highly suspicious. Remember recently in an interview Fauci said the following
Fauci: Natural Immunity vs. Vaccine For COVID-19 Needs To Be Discussed Seriously
(Seriously, in light of all the available data Fauci does not have an opinion on natural immunity?)
What are the facts.
The vaccines we are being compelled to get are still under an emergency use authorization (EUA).
No credible government studies have been conducted showing that vaccine immunity is superior to natural immunity.
No credible government studies have been conducted proving safety for pregnant women before and after the birth
No credible studies have been conducted to disprove the vaccines potential to damage natural immunity.
No credible studies have been conducted to prove the safety of vaccines followed by continued boosters.
No credible evaluation of the VAERS system and its potential under reporting of issues has been conducted.
No explanation has been provided why it is not concerning that the adverse reactions from December 2020 to September 2021 exceed those total reactions from all previous drugs examined.
Assuming 15,000 reported VAERS deaths is not enough, how many is enough?
No explanation has been given for changing the definition and function of vaccines from immunization to protection in September 2021
The government is basically asking you to potential damage yourself with an unproven technology without the rigorous scientific examination because they demand it. The lawyers are lining up with the class action law suits. I sure would not want to argue the government’s side.

Jaw-Dropping Academic Study Shows Natural Immunity Superior to COVID Vaccine
Posted on 08/26/2021
The global debate of COVID mRNA vaccine mandates and passports has ignited social media, policymakers, and policies that impact just nearly every aspect of public life. A number of major studies by universities are confirming basic biology principles about the power of natural immunity. Researchers at Maccabi Healthcare and Tel Aviv University compared the outcomes of over 76,000 Israelis in three groups. Keep in mind, the study is only published as a preprint at this stage and has not been peer reviewed. There was no external funding for the project.
Taken together, these results suggest that broad and effective immunity may persist long-term in recovered COVID-19 patients.”

In today’s MMWR, a study of COVID-19 infections in Kentucky among people who were previously infected with SAR-CoV-2 shows that unvaccinated individuals are more than twice as likely to be reinfected with COVID-19 than those who were fully vaccinated after initially contracting the virus. These data further indicate that COVID-19 vaccines offer better protection than natural immunity alone and that vaccines, even after prior infection, help prevent reinfections.
Covid-19 natural immunity compared to vaccine-induced immunity: The definitive summary
Dated: September 12, 2021 by Sharyl Attkisson
Updated Sept. 12 with CDC-funded study finding U.S. population reached what some experts said is "herd immunity" levels last May. Also, updated CDC number of fully-vaccinated hospitalizations and deaths with Covid.
Updated Sept. 8 with new study in Science Transitional Medicine and recommended spacing of Covid-19 RNA shots due to declining effectiveness and lack of effectiveness of vaccine mandates
Updated Aug. 27 with large Israel study that finds dramatically better protection from natural immunity than vaccination
Updated Aug. 24 with Israel changing policies with recognition that the Pfizer vaccine allegedly wears off after several months.
Updated Aug. 6 with CDC analysis of Kentucky (unvaccinated Kentuckians had "2.34 times the odds of reinfection" compared with fully vaccinated) and national analysis in Israel (vaccinated Israelis were 6.72 times more likely to get infected after the shot than after natural infection).

Recovered COVID-19 patients retain broad and effective longer-term immunity to the disease, suggests a recent Emory University study, which is the most comprehensive of its kind so far. The findings have implications for expanding understanding about human immune memory as well as future vaccine development for coronaviruses.
The longitudinal study, published recently on Cell Reports Medicine, looked at 254 patients with mostly mild to moderate symptoms of SARS-CoV-2 infection over a period for more than eight months (250 days) and found that their immune response to the virus remained durable and strong.
Emory Vaccine Center director Rafi Ahmed, PhD, and a lead author on the paper, says the findings are reassuring, especially given early reports during the pandemic that protective neutralizing antibodies did not last in COVID-19 patients.
“The study serves as a framework to define and predict long-lived immunity to SARS-CoV-2 after natural infection. We also saw indications in this phase that natural immunity could continue to persist,” Ahmed says. The research team will continue to evaluate this cohort over the next few years.
Researchers found that not only did the immune response increase with disease severity, but also with each decade of age regardless of disease severity, suggesting that there are additional unknown factors influencing age-related differences in COVID-19 responses.
In following the patients for months, researchers got a more nuanced view of how the immune system responds to COVID-19 infection. The picture that emerges indicates that the body’s defense shield not only produces an array of neutralizing antibodies but activates certain T and B cells to establish immune memory, offering more sustained defenses against reinfection.
“We saw that antibody responses, especially IgG antibodies, were not only durable in the vast majority of patients but decayed at a slower rate than previously estimated, which suggests that patients are generating longer-lived plasma cells that can neutralize the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein.”

Johns Hopkins Physician on The Power of Natural Covid Immunity — 85 percent are immune…
EXCERPT FROM WALL STREET JOURNAL
The news about the U.S. Covid pandemic is even better than you’ve heard. Some 80% to 85% of American adults are immune to the virus: More than 64% have received at least one vaccine dose and, of those who haven’t, roughly half have natural immunity from prior infection. There’s ample scientific evidence that natural immunity is effective and durable, and public-health leaders should pay it heed.
Only around 10% of Americans have had confirmed positive Covid tests, but four to six times as many have likely had the infection. A February study in Nature used antibody screenings in late summer 2020 to estimate there had been seven times as many actual cases as confirmed cases. A similar study, by the University of Albany and New York State Department of Health, revealed that by the end of March 2020—the first month of New York’s pandemic—23% of the city’s population had antibodies. That share necessarily increased as the pandemic spread.
Natural immunity is durable. Researchers from Washington University in St. Louis reported last month that 11 months after a mild infection immune cells were still capable of producing protective antibodies. The authors concluded that prior Covid infection induces a “robust” and “long-lived humoral immune response,” leading some scientists to suggest that natural immunity is probably lifelong. Because infection began months earlier than vaccination, we have more follow-up data on the duration of natural immunity than on vaccinated immunity.
Skeptics of natural immunity point to Manaus, capital of the Brazilian state of Amazonas, where reports in January suggested a wave of re-infections despite herd immunity. But the initial estimate of those infected was incorrect because it was based on antibody testing among those who donated convalescent plasma—an unrepresentative subgroup of the population. A follow-up study debunked the re-infection hypothesis and found only three confirmed re-infections in the entire state, whose population exceeds four million. Other studies have confirmed that re-infections are rare and usually asymptomatic or mild.

Massive Israeli Study Comes to Bombshell Conclusion About Natural COVID Immunity
August 30, 2021 at 10:47am
A new study out of Israel found the natural immune protection developed after a COVID-19 infection does “considerably” more to ward off the delta variant than two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.
The study found those who were once infected with COVID-19 were less likely to get the delta variant, develop symptoms or become hospitalized with a serious case of COVID than vaccinated individuals who were never infected, according to a report in the peer-reviewed journal Science.
The study also found those who were previously infected with COVID and received one dose of the vaccine were even more protected against the delta variant.
There is no doubt that the Administration is attempting to market the vaccines through messaging that has at best been confusing. It is my opinion that most Americans took the vaccine to eventually become immune. Before the CDC changed their definition of vaccine below the process was described as immunization which as in the past (polio) you would be come immune to the disease. The process of masking and vaccinating were promoted to protect against the disease and the unvaccinated who have been demonized by the left. Clearly if the vaccines are so good who cares whether anyone else gets a vaccine. The logic was circular and untenable as breakthrough cases proved the vaccines were waning and not that protective. The Administration’s strategy was to double down by mandating vaccines and beginning to push boosters. Israel which is vaccinated 80+ percent is now considering shot number 4. This is insane ….when is enough enough? There is no safety data that clears the way for further use . There is still no strong push from the Biden Administration for treatments. Follow openvaers.com and do the research on the obvious potential for under reporting of adverse events.
Social media is calling bluff on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for modifying its definition of the words “vaccine” and “vaccination” on its website. Before the change, the definition for “vaccination” read, “the act of introducing a vaccine into the body to produce immunity to a specific disease.” Now, the word “immunity” has been switched to “protection.” The term “vaccine” also got a makeover. The CDC’s definition changed from “a product that stimulates a person’s immune system to produce immunity to a specific disease” to the current “a preparation that is used to stimulate the body’s immune response against diseases.”
