In the summer of 2013, when I was 61, I had two women in their 30s die in my surgical center. I sent them to the emergency room, but nothing worked. It was my place, so I was responsible. It was the worst period of my life. I felt guilty and was sleepless, and my wife thought we would have to give up our practice.

I did not learn why it happened until the autopsy reports came back six months later. One woman had an "embolus" of fat blocking her lungs. This occurs unpredictably, and there is no means to prevent it.

The second had a high local anesthetic blood level. We inject this into fat to decrease pain, and after liposuction, we sometimes transplant the fat back into breasts and buttocks. This may have raised her levels and caused her death, but there was no way to be sure.

To occupy my mind, I started reading medicine twenty to thirty hours a week. My original training was as a generalist, but for decades I had studied only cosmetic surgery.

I began with the Prozac-class antidepressants, which I had prescribed since their invention. It stunned me to learn that they hardly worked and were often damaging. I read further and found that other psychiatric medications produce irreversible brain and health problems. Doctors have been trained to pass them out like jelly beans.

I learned that many drugs are given for wholly theoretical, even speculative benefits. Many are damaging. I consulted people for cosmetic surgery who were taking ten (10) of these at once. I began to see how medical corporations had done this to us.

I read about back pain. Most of it goes away on its own, but doctors had been thoughtlessly prescribing opioid painkillers and turning many patients into struggling addicts. Back surgeries are the most expensive and some of the least effective procedures in all medical care, bar none. No one admits this even to themselves--not the surgeons, the hospital administrators, nor the surgical centers owners. The enormous profits short-circuit everybody's judgment.

I also realized that over the past three decades, younger and younger people had been getting heart disease, obesity, and diabetes. I wondered if healthcare, particularly medication use, might be the cause. I thought about Peter Van Etten's line, "In this insanity of healthcare, the patient always loses." I saw that we were breaking them on a medical torture-wheel.

The amount of wealth thrown into American healthcare is astounding. Since the corporations took over, hospitals, drug companies, and senior doctors on their payola are scrapping for it like giant carp eating bread. We pay them handsomely for anything they can slap a billing code on, and they dictate every move according to profitability. Patient wellbeing is now secondary. Healthcare quality--and our general health--has deteriorated.

I have affluent peers, and some are not shy about it. A gastroenterologist boasted in the doctors' lunchroom that he puts diamonds on the fingers of his infant daughters. In 2004, a cardiologist wearing a $3000 suit told me he "couldn't pay his personal expenses" if he made less than $600,000 a year. Nouveau riche posturing like this is usually accompanied by stories about expensive, supposedly lifesaving treatments. I always vaguely smelled a rat, but I was busy and never gave it much thought.

As I continued to study, I realized that newer science proved that many of the therapies these people were selling were worthless. I wondered what profit their fancy cars or high incomes could be for them if they did not put patients first.

After a great deal of personal and professional reflection, I decided to write about the whole medical-industrial calamity. I understand I am a whistleblower, what it means, and what I face. One of my source authors warned me I would lose my medical license. In late 2019, I quit practicing and left the melee. I can now say what I need to from outside the tent and without conflicts of interest.

2. COVID-19: A Pandemic of Ignorance, Fear, Hysteria and "Official-Truth" Lies - James Demeo PhD

Natural scientist James DeMeo reviewed the CDC, WHO and medical arguments and data about the claimed USA Covid-19 pandemic, finding numerous serious problems in basic scientific methods and claimed causality.

These include errors in basic assumptions, confusions of correlation with causality, subjective impressions being misrepresented as "objective evidence", incoherent, sloppy or misuse of data, and evasive concealment of critically important contrary facts, all spiced up with hysterical alarmism. Specifically:

* Excess Mortality due to claimed Covid-19 disease, without preexisting deadly comorbidities, is only around 5000 to 18,000 deaths for all of 2020.

* Claimed Covid-19 deaths are 81% confined to elderly people over 65 nearing end-of-life, each of whom has an average of 4 pre-existing deadly comorbidities.

* Many of the elderly with those comorbidities were transferred out of hospitals into nursing homes, where other elderly with weak immune systems succumbed to similar comorbidities, worsened by inhuman lockdown-masking-isolation policies.

* The PCR and antigen testing methods are wildly inaccurate, not specific to any corona virus, and cross-react with multiple other DNA/RNA fragments from prior exposures.

*"PCR Confirmed Cases" do not predict who will succumb to Covid-19 sickness or death. Most "positive" people are asymptomatic, non-infectious and never get sick.

* Symptoms of Covid-19 are nearly indistinguishable from seasonal influenza or pneumonia, and they all have a seasonally variable incidence, with far more cases and deaths in wintertime than in summer. This alone undermines the viral pandemic theory.

* Lockdowns, forced masking and anti-social distancing have protected nobody, and have instead increased human misery, despair, illness and deaths. The economic ruin and chronic emotional anxiety associated with such inhuman, prison-like isolation of the elderly have killed most of the people claimed as due to "Covid-19".

* Hospitals and doctors were paid extra sums by government health agencies to lie and reclassify many comorbidities and deaths as "Covid-19", to jack up the numbers. People died of their deadly multiple pre-existing diseases and conditions, not Covid-19.

* Ending of lockdowns, forced masking and isolation have not led to an increase in cases or deaths, just the opposite. The "New Normal" is iatrogenic murder.

* Many ignorant or compromised physicians, mainstream media stars and internet billionaires have colluded with the worst of power-drunk government bureaucrats and pharmaceutical profiteers, to censor and criminalize scientific dissent. They systematically ignore the deadly consequences of totalitarian lockdowns, and scare the public into obedience to a growing Medical Police State. The unnecessary experimental mRNA vaccines have already killed more people than all prior vaccination programs combined! They also push for Nazi-like "vaccine passports" and other inhuman segregationist policies.

* All the above points are well-documented in this book.

3. What Really Happened in Wuhan - Sharri Markson

This is a very comprehensive, well-researched book. It doesn't conclusively say it was a lab accident but there is a lot of circumstantial evidence that points to it from website links being deleted to the uniqueness this virus has for humans as opposed to other animals (which suggests it was engineered) to the lab's links to bioterrorism.

Everyone should read and make their own opinion. The way this was handled is incredibly important to understand. Mainstream science essentially shut down the lab origin theory so Trump would not be elected. It was only after the evidence was so overwhelming that Biden reinstated the investigation. I really can't stand when people say "Trust the science." It is as political if not more political than anything else. We find that Americans including Fauci and Peter Deszack were funneling taxpayer money into the Wuhan Lab for testing and therefore had an incredible conflict of interest to rule a lab accident out of the realm of possibility. We find that Facebook and Twitter shutdown discussion about the lab origin story and only have recently allowed. What happened to free speech. The left wing media never gave the lab origin story any credibility. Finally, people need to wake up and understand China is a real threat. They are an authoritarian state which competes aggressively with the US. They do not have our best interest at hand. We need to be very mindful of them. Personally, what worries me the most is that in the US the truth no longer matters. It's whatever is convenient for somebody's narrative that matters. We desperately need to move away from that. We are not perfect but we are still the last, best hope for the world.

When science is good it is very good. The picture most people have of science is one of objectivity, integrity, good faith, and miracles. People of noble character use time-honored experimental procedures to give us a truthful picture of the reality we find ourselves situated in. But there is another side of science, a dark side. On that side of science there is prejudice, deception, and outright fraud. This little book is about that dark side.

My journey into the dark side of science began in 1981 when I was the publisher of a newspaper called New York Native. I inadvertently published the first article about the AIDS epidemic. Subsequently, I devoted my newspaper to the coverage of AIDS, which evolved into to equally groundbreaking coverage of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. My history of New York Native is contained in The Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Epidemic Cover-up. Randy Shilts praise my newspaper's early coverage of AIDS in And the Band Played On. In Rolling Stone, David Black said New York Native deserved a Pulitzer Prize for its coverage of AIDS. New York Native is mentioned in Larry Kramer's The Normal Heart.

In the first part of the AIDS epidemic, my role was that of publisher, editor, and journalist. But given the long, unrelenting nature of the epidemic, I have found myself evolving into a historian and political philosopher of the science and culture of the epidemic. Those roles are reflected in my many books on the subject which include journalism, history, political philosophy, fiction, plays, and even poetry. I have looked at our dark times from a number of different angles and have used a variety of means to try and communicate the criminal nature of the tragedy.

As a historian, I have tried to identify the elements that have come together to form the perfect public health storm and the perfect biomedical crime. As an involuntarily-drafted political philosopher, I have been forced to peer behind the veil of science and public health propaganda to analyze the values and structures that are the foundation of the political and medical dystopia that we are still living in today.

My decades of coverage of HHV-6 was vindicated when the University of Wurzburg issued this statement in 2018: "While HHV-6 was long believed to have no negative impact on human health, scientists today increasingly suspect the virus of causing various diseases such as multiple sclerosis or chronic fatigue syndrome. Recent studies even suggest that HHV-6 might play a role in the pathogenesis of several diseases of the central nervous system such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression or Alzheimer's."

About the Author
