Democrat Surcharge

We accept the reality of our two party political system and the deep division that exists in a 50 50 country. Maybe I have been unfair in demanding that American citizens and residents by invitation follow laws and legislation passed by Congress. A reasonable person which clearly I have not been, should give the people the power to choose. If either party has chosen to pursue actions in contravention of the law, they should in a free society to be able pay for what what they choose. If in this case the Democrats ignore illegal aliens crossing our borders or men playing in girls sports, or social services supporting sanctuary cities, there should be a Democrat surcharge to fund all these programs. The surcharge would be automatically added to the annual federal tax bill of every registered Democrat and would vary according to the funds needed. It would no longer be necessary for the federal government to fund all these programs from the general tax fund. This solution will allow Democrats to virtue signal with a clear conscience and really feel good about themselves. DEI is not constitutional and would therefore also be funded by Democrats who could now hire and fire at will based on whatever standard they impose. Again remember its about feeling good about yourself.

Clearly the Dems are passionate in expressing and fighting (literally) for what they want. Maybe we should be more compassionate in not obstructing their vision of utopia. I know some on the right believe that Democrats want us to fund their illegal activities. That seems judgmental, but I guess we can find out. I want to be fair and give the Dems a chance to put their money where their mouths have been. So they can have and pay for their world as long as they understand they will never encroach on ours …which means an illegal will always be an illegal and in this country only citizens vote with picture identification. So let’s make this deal. I would be delighted not to be required to pay for the fantasies of others.
