NFL Has Bowed Again to the Woke Dollar
Segment #777
Roger Goodell has managed to alienate half the country (at least) with his woke version of what American NFL football should be about. OK Roger you may get more viewers in Colombia, Portugal, or maybe even Botswana but you will shed more in the States. Congratulations the numbers for TP-USA’s halftime show just proved you created a cottage industry in half time alternative programming. How will your advertisers like that? You think they will still pony up 8 million for a thirty second spot? I will leave it below to the folks to get into the specifics of why this was a bad decision long term.

“¿Inglés, Por Favor?
At least he didn’t wear a dress.
Last month’s report that Bad Bunny planned to don women’s clothes during his Super Bowl halftime performance made us pessimistic about the show. Simply put, Americans do not want that. At all.
Given those below-the-floor expectations, the spectacle could have turned out worse. The Puerto Rican rapper sported pants and a jacket, the stage design was commendably creative, and performers didn’t scream any slurs at the program’s millions of viewers. At least we don’t think they did.
Unfortunately, we are not 100% sure about the last point because Bad Bunny’s entire act was in Spanish. He did not sing a single song in English; Lady Gaga provided the only break from the Español.
Many people on the Left will call you racist for preferring the language our country speaks. Their smears are among the most absurd they’ve ever levied. The Super Bowl is America’s Game, and English is America’s language. There is nothing unreasonable about wanting the biggest U.S. sporting event to remain comprehensible for this country’s citizens. Spanish concerts are great for Mexican soccer matches. But not for the Super Bowl. It’s hard to think of a more moderate stance.”
The explicit content in Bad Bunny's Super Bowl LX halftime show (February 8, 2026) that drew criticism centered on two main things: suggestive choreography/dancing and sexual themes in the lyrics of songs like "Safaera" and "Yo Perreo Sola." Conservative critics (including Rep. Andy Ogles and Rep. Randy Fine) labeled it "pure smut," "depraved," and demanded investigations/fines, claiming it included "explicit displays of gay sexual acts," "glorifying sodomy," and other "unspeakable depravities" visible or audible on broadcast TV.What Actually Happened On Stage (No Rationalization, Just the Reported Elements)
Choreography and Visuals:
Backup dancers performed reggaeton-style moves: twerking, grinding (hip-to-hip or body-against-body contact), hip thrusts, and provocative gyrating.
Same-sex dance pairings appeared (e.g., men dancing intimately with men, women with women), which critics described as "explicit displays of gay sexual acts" or "gay pornography" on prime time.
Bad Bunny himself grabbed his crotch and did air-humping/dry-humping motions during high-energy parts.
These were sensual, club-style reggaeton dances — not simulated sex acts, nudity, or overt pornography, but more explicit than typical family-oriented halftime fare.
Lyrics and Songs:
"Safaera" (performed in part): This track's original lyrics are extremely graphic. Examples include:
References to analingus ("If your boyfriend doesn’t eat your ass / He better f-ck off").
Genital references and penetration ("My d-ck is being chased and I want you to hide it").
Boasts about arousal, casual sex, and other vulgar sexual acts.
During the show, Bad Bunny skipped, mumbled, or cut the most explicit lines — they were not clearly sung or broadcast. The performance used edited/toned-down versions to meet FCC indecency standards (no audible f-bombs or equivalent profanities).
"Yo Perreo Sola": Focuses on women twerking/dancing independently, with sexualized language around "perreo" (grinding dance) and body emphasis. Performed with emphasis on empowerment, but the innuendo was there.
Other tracks (e.g., "Tití Me Preguntó"): Include slang references to multiple partners, genital size ("mi bicho está cabrón" — roughly "my dick is awesome/fire"), and casual hookups. Some lines were mumbled or masked (e.g., via mic drop or edit) during broadcast.
No full uncensored explicit lyrics were delivered clearly — the show complied with live TV rules via self-censorship (mumbling expletives, skipping verses, instrumental sections).
The outrage largely exploded after the show when people translated the original song lyrics online (from Genius, etc.) and assumed/assumed the broadcast matched them exactly. Critics posted screenshots of those original explicit translations, even though the performed versions were altered. Some called the mere inclusion of these songs (even edited) inappropriate for families/kids.In short: The explicit elements were sexualized dancing (including same-sex grinding) and innuendo-heavy reggaeton lyrics about sex acts/body parts — but no nudity, no clear profanity on air, and no hardcore simulation. The "explicit" part was real in theme and movement, though deliberately toned down for broadcast.

Super Bowl Goes Woke, TPUSA Alternate Halftime Show Draws Millions of Viewers
There’s been plenty of talk about Bad Bunny’s Spanish-only Super Bowl halftime performance. It was the kind of show you’d expect to see in a Miami club, not during the intermission of America’s most famous game.
The Puerto Rican rapper’s act was hardly the event’s only ode to the Woke Left. LGBT activist Brandi Carlile dedicated her “America the Beautiful” performance to “queer communities,” and the NFL included the so-called “Black National Anthem” as a part of its pregame ceremonies.
How long will this continue? There is no such thing as a “Black National Anthem,” just like a “White National Anthem” does not exist, either. There is one National Anthem, and it belongs to all Americans. If liberals actually wanted to end racism, they would stop going out of their way to divide people based on their skin color. We all live under the same flag. We thought that’s what the Civil Rights Movement was all about.
On the bright side, Kid Rock and Turning Point USA’s alternative halftime show drew millions of viewers, and Charlie Puth knocked his rendition of the real National Anthem out of the park.
