Worldwide Mandates and the 10th Amendment
Segment # 025
If you have not been paying attention for the past year, you might ask yourself why the stories below never appeared on your nightly news. Good questions – obvious answers. The people in power don’t want you to see it. We should wake up everything morning and thank whatever powers you worship that we live in the United States. In Europe and most of the world you get one shot in their governments to get it right. If the powers that be screw it up for good or evil it effects everyone. In the US the federal government does have significant power; however, this impact is blunted somewhat by the 10th Amendment which says “ The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.” Translated this means “The Tenth Amendment was intended to confirm the understanding of the people at the time the Constitution was adopted, that powers not granted to the United States were reserved to the States or to the people. It added nothing to the instrument as originally ratified.” 1 “The amendment states but a truism that all is retained which has not been surrendered. There is nothing in the history of its adoption to suggest that it was more than declaratory of the relationship between the national and state governments as it had been established by the Constitution before the amendment or that its purpose was other than to allay fears that the new national government might seek to exercise powers not granted, and that the states might not be able to exercise fully their reserved powers.” 2 That this provision was not conceived to be a yardstick for measuring the powers granted to the Federal Government or reserved to the states was firmly settled by the refusal of both Houses of Congress to insert the word “expressly” before the word “delegated,” 3 and was confirmed by Madison’s remarks in the course of the debate, which took place while the proposed amendment was pending, concerning Hamilton’s plan to establish a national bank. “Interference with the power of the States was no constitutional criterion of the power of Congress. If the power was not given, Congress could not exercise it; if given, they might exercise it, although it should interfere with the laws, or even the Constitutions of the States.” (www.law.cornell.edu)
The 10th Amendment is a very big deal because it means that the whole country does not have to accept either the philosophy of California or Florida. If anything makes the United States the place that literally millions of immigrants want to call home, freedom is clearly at the top of the list. So we should praise and sympathize with those around the world living under a central government during covid. Most of us left or right would not be trading places with citizens from either Australia or Israel that are not dealing well with their challenges.
Israel, One of Most Vaccinated Countries in the World, Sets New COVID-19 Case Record

Today will be remembered as the day there was a worldwide March Against Mandates. Demonstrators estimating to be in excess of 250,000 in Brussels were attacked by police and broken up with threats of water cannons. The governments insist on compliance and silence, but as you will see from the video’s below, this did not happen. Press conferences continued and the message of resistance was delivered. At one time I though comparisons to the holocaust was hyperbolic. After Vera Sherav impassioned speech and the incontrovertible evidence that emergency use vaccines do not stop the spread or infection of the vaccinated, mandates must be the consequence of another strategy that seemingly is becoming clearer every day. And for those that think this is insane, I would simply ask what proof exists that I am wrong? The unvaccinated are not the enemy to society as the speak truth to power they are making those in power very uncomfortable.
Growing Number of European Countries Rolling Back COVID-19 Restrictions

Major economies in Europe have started to roll back COVID-19 restrictions that were implemented in recent weeks in response to a spike in cases and hospitalizations.
In the United Kingdom, people won’t have to wear masks in public or show proof they’ve been vaccinated to enter some venues like restaurants or pubs starting next Thursday.
“Because of the extraordinary booster campaign, together with the way the public have responded to the Plan B measures, we can return to Plan A in England and allow Plan B regulations to expire as a result from the start of Thursday next week,” Prime Minister Boris Johnson said several days ago.
The prime minister cited data suggesting the Omicron variant surge has “now peaked nationally.”
“And having looked at the data carefully, the Cabinet concluded that once regulations lapse, the government will no longer mandate the wearing of face masks anywhere,” Johnson also said.
In nearby Ireland, nearly all COVID-19 rules are expected to expire on Saturday morning, including capacity limits for outdoor and indoor events. Early closing times and some so-called social distancing measures have also been done away with, officials said last week.

In Germany, Thousands Gather To Protest Against Country's COVID-19 Policies
Germany: Tens of thousands of people protested against coronavirus restrictions in Hamburg. Several of the demonstrators did not adhere to COVID protocol.
The mass protest followed anti-lockdown demonstrations in other European cities on Saturday. It was said to be organized by more than 600 local associations from all over Europe, as well as by some national branches of World Wide Demonstration and Europeans United.
The organizers claimed they were not against Covid-19 measures as such, but were defending freedom, democracy and human rights, while protesting against the “undemocratic way” governments in Europe chose to introduce restrictions.
