Who is Mike Pence?

Segment #636

When compared to Trump’s cabinet in his second term, its obvious that the president’s team in his first term was unqualified and not interested in supporting their boss. Trump listened to the wrong people. We will learn more about how Pence worked against Trump in the coming months. Whether this resistance was merely ideological is speculative; however, it is apparent now their visions differ substantially. In my opinion Pence is an institutional globalist with limited ability to think creatively. I blame Pence for the poor Covid decisions as he rubber stamped anything coming from Birx or Fauci. In his 2017 article in the Washington Post Pence was quoted as saying he couldn’t be alone with any woman other than his wife suggested that as a leader in the 21st century he might be a bit out of touch

Pence Versus Trump

  • January 6 and Election Certification: Pence refused Trump's pressure to reject the 2020 electoral votes, viewing it as unconstitutional. He certified Joe Biden's win, leading to chants of "Hang Mike Pence!" from rioters.

  • Policy Shifts: Trump allegedly abandoned conservative priorities like reducing the national debt, strong foreign policy (e.g., Ukraine aid), and pro-life stances (e.g., no national abortion ban).

  • Personal Betrayal: Trump blamed Pence for the election loss, eroding their alliance.

  • Broader GOP Direction: Pence sees Trump pulling the party toward "populism" over traditional conservatism.

Broader Context and Reactions

  • Trump's View: Trump has called Pence a "good man" but lacking "stamina and courage," blaming him for 2020 loss and recent filings. Supporters label Pence a "traitor" or "hypocrite."

  • GOP Divide: Pence appeals to traditional conservatives (e.g., via Advancing American Freedom PAC), funding $20M for anti-populist causes. Critics like Tim Walz highlight him as a "firewall" against Trump's overreach.

  • Public Sentiment on X (Oct 2025): Posts mix outrage (e.g., "Pence part of the Swamp," calls for prosecution) with defenses (e.g., praising his Jan 6 stand). Semantic search shows ~70% negative toward Pence, tied to Jan 6 and leaks theories.

  • Pence's Stance Today: In Oct 2025 speeches (e.g., Dartmouth), he urges civility and backs Trump's wins (e.g., defense, courts) but doubles down on non-endorsement, focusing on debt reform and pro-life advocacy. No evidence of active "conspiracy" beyond policy clashes, though unverified claims (e.g., Venezuela sabotage) circulate.

General Flynn says he believes Mike Pence was absolutely involved in the RussiaGate setup. Paul Ryan, Mike Pence, and all of their RINO friends were in on the Clinton funded fake Russian collusion failed coup attempt against Trump.

One of the untold stories of Spygate is how Stef Halper and Chris Steele’s false “intelligence” was used to get Gen Flynn fired. McCabe went to Pence with the FBI file on Flynn claiming Flynn was compromised by Russia. And Gen Flynn was fired. Source: McCabe’s own book.
