Where We Are and Where We Are Going
We have noted that the Harris/Walz ticket has not posted their policy position on their campaign website. Clearly, they don’t want to back themselves into the corner on policies that will be unpopular on the Left or Right, increasing the pressure for them both to come out of hiding and answer questions. But, it will happen, and it will be interesting to see the reactions. On the stump, Harris and Walz have canned speeches that promise support for the military, border control, economic relief etc., etc. In these statements, the campaign is admitting their policies of the past 3.5 years were wrong, but the Far-Left segment of the party seems to be either buying it or ignoring it. Probably some of both; however, there is an element of ‘wink-wink, nod-nod, you know I am just saying this to get elected’.
The question is: are these totally wacko policies really what we have come to know as liberal? As of a few years ago, these policies would have been described as Far-Left, off-the-chart crazy! Polls today on either side of the aisle clearly show the US voter is not for men in girls sports, tampons in boys bathrooms, genital mutilation of kids etc. They are only espoused under the guise of compassion in this very tribal setting. The choice is never offered as Trump vs genital mutilation. but, it is, in reality, precisely that choice. This is why they have spent 8 years trying to destroy Trump in every way possible, knowing he will never accept the phony virtue signaling of the Far-Left.

So what do you get with complete government control? You get socialism and communism. Calling Trump a Fascist Nazi is projection at best. Trump, as they know, is a capitalist and will blow up government regulations. They don’t want that. Check out Neal Gorsuch

I thought it would be fun to get CBS news to take an interview with Gorsuch on his book. You will not be surprised CBS tries to make it political and snarky.
So where does this lead?.... Directly to more government control.
You can vote your way into socialism but you can‘t vote your way out. The image below shows the turnout in Venezuela against Maduro yet Maduro claims he won. As a consequence, we will see more Venezuelan immigrants on our southern border.

The UK, like France, has screwed up immigration for decades, and now, they are paying for it. Instead of trying to solve the problem and listen to their legitimate citizens, the government is calling it Far-Right thuggery and imposing bans on free speech. If you can’t see, after our open-border policies, the pattern developing here in the U.S., you are probably already a socialist.
This gumball video is 7-years old, but it is poignant especially now in the UK and US

Presented by author/journalist: Roy Beck - Numbers USA http://www.NumbersUSA.org ...
Global humanitarian reasons for current U.S. immigration are tested in this updated version of Roy Beck's colorful presentation of data from the World Bank and U.S. Census Bureau. The 1996 version has been one of the most viewed policy presentations on the internet. From 2000 to 2009, the United States granted on average 1,003,741 green cards per year, according to DHS. Statistics. From 2000 to 2013, the U.S. granted an average of 1,008,404 green cards per year.
Using the World Bank’s measure of poverty, in 2010 the Population Reference Bureau estimated the percentage of each country’s population who lived on less than $2 a day. The United States tends to bring in immigrants from the better-off poor of the world instead of those living in extreme poverty, as measured by per capita GDP data from the World Bank. Academic works on international migration trends demonstrate that the “poorest of the poor” cannot afford to migrate and poorer countries tend to lose their better-educated and more prosperous citizens to the developed world.
According to DHS, the largest share of people living in the United States in 2009 who had been born in another country was from Mexico, 29.3 percent of the total foreign-born population. The second largest group was from China, 5.5% In 2009, the number of people living in countries with average incomes below Mexico’s was approximately 5.6 billion, according to the World Bank measure of per capita GDP. According to the Population Reference Bureau, 80.8 million births in 2009 were in “less developed regions.”
