The ABC Affiliates That Fired Kimmel

Segment #604

Extensive reporting now reveals that Kimmel when asked by Bob Igor of ABC totally refused to apologize for his Kirk remarks. This was not even close to a First Amendment issue. It was a business decision made after an employee went rogue. Kimmel was ordered to back off and he didn’t. Remember this is a taped program so ABC knew they had responsibility putting more pressure on them and the afiliates to rein in Kimmel and make him apologize. Kimmel is in a very bad place. Jimmy the timeline proves you were lying and knew it when you said the shooter was MAGA

And for all the misinformed, lying, sycophantic talking heads calling this censorship and an attack on free speech. PROVE ME WRONG.

Sinclair Broadcast Group, which owns or operates a number of local ABC affiliates, is headquartered in the Baltimore suburb of Cockeysville, Maryland. The specific address is 10706 Beaver Dam Road, Hunt Valley, Maryland. It's important to note that Sinclair is a large company with a vast network of television stations across the United States, so while their corporate headquarters is in Maryland, their ABC affiliates are located in various cities and states.

Nexstar Media Group, which owns and operates a large number of ABC affiliates, is headquartered in Irving, Texas. The corporate offices are located at 545 East John Carpenter Freeway, Suite 700. It's important to remember that Nexstar is a massive company with television stations all over the United States, so its ABC affiliates are located in many different cities and states. For example, some of their ABC affiliates are in Dothan, Alabama (WDHN), Hartford, Connecticut (WTNH), and Charleston, West Virginia (WCHS).

Major media groups, including Sinclair and Nexstar, have pulled Jimmy Kimmel's late-night show from their affiliated stations following comments he made about the death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Sinclair Broadcast Group and Nexstar Media Group, two of the largest owners of ABC-affiliated television stations, have pulled "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" from their broadcasts.1 The decision came after Jimmy Kimmel made remarks about the death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Here's a summary of the situation:

Kimmel's Comments: During his monologue, Kimmel criticized what he called the "MAGA gang" for "desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them" and for "capitalizing on the murder" to score political points.3 He also mocked President Trump's and Vice President J.D. Vance's responses to Kirk's death.4

Broadcasters' Response: Sinclair and Nexstar stated that Kimmel's comments were "offensive and insensitive."5 Nexstar said it did not believe the comments reflected the values of the communities they serve.6 Sinclair went further, calling on Kimmel to apologize to Kirk's family and make a donation to them and to Turning Point USA, the organization Kirk founded.7

ABC's Action: Following the decisions by Sinclair and Nexstar, ABC announced that "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" would be "pre-empted indefinitely."

With the Charlie Kirk assassination creating an uptick in the number of celebrities saying downright terrible things about charlie kirk just over a wekk after the charlie kirk death that happened on september 10th.....one major development going on now involves more to do with the aftermath of the Jimmy Kimmel Cancelled situation and how abc cancelled jimmy kimmel......this also comes after how the jimmy kimmel fired update from toy story 5 by disney also showed everyone how disney ceo bob iger is desperate to recover from the pr nightmare that is the jimmy kimmel live show. This is all happening after nexstar and sinclair pressured kimmel to make an apology....he is refusing to do that to this day and recently said some of the worst things yet after his cancellation.
