Thank You for your Service
Segment # 159
On Memorial Day we appropriately remember and thank those that served in the military, some of whom gave their lives in this service. In a democracy where the civilian leadership controls the military there should always be a stated and unstated commitment to protect those that serve. When the political leadership shows contempt, disrespect, or incompetence for the military in fulfilling their civilian roles it must be addressed and remembered in seeking accountability for military personnel and their families.
So today we remember Benghazi and Hillary Clinton and her pathetic response asking “what difference does it make” to those who died defending the embassy. We also remember Biden hanging his diplomats and military out to dry by pulling the bulk of his forces BEFORE the evacuation. We remember Biden looking at his watch while greeting and honoring the 13 servicemen killed because of him at the Kabul airport.
Gold Star mother on Biden's conduct at dignified transfer ceremony: 'Total disrespect'
This is the way you remember and honor the military of Memorial Day?
Since 9/11, we have been helping America’s heroes by providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children and by building specially-adapted smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders. We are also committed to eradicating veteran homelessness and helping America to Never Forget September 11, 2001.

The Gary Sinise Foundation serves our nation by honoring our defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need. We do this by creating and supporting unique programs designed to entertain, educate, inspire, strengthen, and build communities.
My personal mission is what led to the founding of the Gary Sinise Foundation in 2011, and with the help of supporters like you, we will continue to expand this mission in support of our nation’s defenders, veterans, first responders and their loved ones, while upholding the importance of keeping our country strong by taking care of those who serve.
Our programs and projects have certainly made a difference in many lives, but there’s much more work to be done. I encourage you to browse our website, look into our programs, view the many great videos that show us in action, read about some of the heroes and families we have had the privilege to support, and consider making a contribution to help us do even more.
On behalf of all of us here at the Gary Sinise Foundation, thank you.
Happy Memorial Day and if you served – Thank you for your service.
