Spencer Pratt is Angry and not Going Away
Segment #943
'It's war': Spencer Pratt says he'll keep working to save Los Angeles and claims to have damaging evidence. Spencer Pratt’s shift from reality TV villain to political firebrand has officially hit its post-election phase.
Following his third-place finish in the June 2, 2026, Los Angeles mayoral primary—where he secured 25.8% of the vote but was ultimately edged out of the runoff by incumbent Mayor Karen Bass and City Councilmember Nithya Raman—Pratt released a highly combative three-minute video titled "Saving LA – Phase III."
The video marks a dramatic pivot for his campaign, combining a formal concession with a declaration of uninhibited political warfare.
The "Phase III" Strategy: No Strings Attached
In the video, Pratt explicitly stated that while the "campaign portion" of his mission is over, his effort to dismantle what he calls a "corrupt machine" is just beginning. He explicitly noted that dropping out of the official race frees him from regulatory constraints:
"I'm moving on to the next, more interesting phase... I don't have campaign laws hamstringing me now. It's war."
The "Damaging Evidence" Claim
The most provocative element of Pratt's announcement is his claim to possess leverage capable of derailing the remaining candidates before the November general election.
The Allegation: Pratt claimed to hold incriminating audio files. "We have some recordings of one of your exalted candidates doing and saying something that would make her resign in shame," he asserted, adding that he had initially planned to hold the material for the general election cycle.
The Target: While he did not specify whether the alleged recordings feature Bass or Raman, he concluded the video by suggesting that both candidates should be looking over their shoulders for potential FBI raids.
Context of the Campaign
Pratt’s political pivot was deeply tied to personal grievance and local tragedy. His platform grew out of the 2025 Palisades Fire, which destroyed his own home alongside thousands of others in the Pacific Palisades. Running as a Republican with an endorsement from Donald Trump, Pratt heavily utilized social media and AI-generated content to frame Los Angeles as a failing, mismanaged metropolis.
Though he previously vowed to leave Southern California entirely if he lost the mayoral race, this latest update signals he intends to stay squarely in the spotlight as an aggressive outside agitator. Neither the Bass nor Raman campaigns have issued formal responses to his latest claims.
