Riverbend Steaks - Nothing Like It
Segment #538
Never done a segment like this before, but maybe in an oblique way it is related to the message of our postings and the websites. Barbara and I work hard to research the best and healthiest foods. One day I was watching Megyn Kelly and she introduced us to Riverbend Ranch and we are hooked. Previously we have been buying our meat at Central Market in Dallas... certainly not cheap but always great. Riverbend is better. I have no idea how they freeze and ship and deliver a product like this, but they did.
The Story of Riverbend Ranch
In 1991, Frank and his wife Belinda VanderSloot created Riverbend Ranch, embarking on a mission to establish one of the best Black Angus cattle herd in the United States. He began a 30-year journey of hand-selecting individual cattle from across the finest Angus herds in the nation, investing millions of dollars and countless hours in selecting what is now the foundation of one of the top seedstock herds in America
The Riverbend Ranch herd has been meticulously curated through a rigorous selection process, evaluating EPDs, genetics, muscle and skeletal soundness, and individual performance data, resulting in a herd that is recognized as one of the best in the Nation!
The operation gradually expanded its reach across multiple states and today Riverbend Ranch totals approximately 290,000 acres of premium pastures of high-elevation ranch land through Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
In recognition of the ranch’s achievement in producing superior quality beef, the American Angus Association awarded Riverbend Ranch with the 2016 Seedstock Commitment to Excellence Award for its Certified Angus Beef.
Each year, Riverbend Ranch hosts some of the largest sales in the nation. Combining innovation with time-honored tradition, this fifth-generation ranch employs a team of highly skilled cattlemen and their families who embrace the ever-changing advancements in the industry while always staying true to the traditional values that makes ranching such an important part of American history.
