So much of what is happening in our world today just makes no sense. Granted, trying to synthesize these huge problems into rational analysis is not easy. But maybe we should look for the common denominator for a thoughtful understanding of our reality. As we give away more and more of our personal freedoms, I often hear a comparison of how Germany became dominated by Hitler. Dr. William Happer, a world-renowned physicist, offered the following which makes sense. Self-awareness and the ability to question prevailing thought are not attributes readily seen in today’s government and corporation leaders. Do not give away temporarily which you can never reclaim in the future.
