My Journey: from Willie Brown to the White House
The corrupt media in 2024 is a fascinating study in manipulation that oozes contempt for the intelligence. Their arrogance will be the vulnerability that will continue to be exploited by an independent internet-based media. As ratings drop in the legacy media, such as MSNBC and CNN, ultimately their only hope is government censorship. Megyn Kelly, an independent podcaster, is beating both NBC and CBS on their YouTube ratings .
People are trusting the corrupt media less and less.
Note;” Recent discussions on X (formerly Twitter) have highlighted that Megyn Kelly's YouTube channel significantly outperformed the official YouTube channels of NBC News and CBS News in terms of views for the month of July 2024. According to posts on X, Megyn Kelly's channel amassed over 116.8 million views, which is notably higher than the combined views of NBC News (78 million) and CBS News (83 million) for the same period. This comparison suggests that on YouTube, Megyn Kelly's content has a substantial reach, potentially indicating a shift in audience preference towards independent or alternative media figures over traditional network news for online content consumption.
This trend reflects a broader movement where individual media personalities or alternative media outlets can garner significant followings online, sometimes surpassing traditional media giants in digital metrics like views. However, it's important to consider that while YouTube views are a measure of reach, they do not directly translate to traditional TV ratings or overall audience engagement metrics used by broadcast networks. The context of these views, such as the type of content (e.g., exclusive interviews, controversial topics, or unique commentary), also plays a critical role in why viewers might prefer Kelly's channel over network news.”
The Kamala makeover is something to behold. A few short months ago she was an insurance policy for Biden’s removal for incompetence. With Biden’s crash and burn at the debate, Kamal’s ascendancy was all but assured as the palace coup forced out Biden with threats of the 25th Amendment. The Dems learned an open convention where better replacements could emerge was a pipe dream. You don’t replace a black woman Vice President with a white male (probably) and hope to keep your party together. The bad news was they knew their candidate was a cackling idiot who had actually proven the Peter Principle back in California. The good news was that she was ambitious, greedy, vain, petty, of average intelligence and very much aware of her limitations; therefore, easily manipulated and controlled. All they had to do was crown her and gush over her fake credentials to be the first American woman to be President. Kamala needs to be protected by bureaucrats far more intelligent and talented than she, so she will eagerly make the deal with the devil.
The Before: Kathleen Parker, a Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist for The Washington Post, has recently made headlines with her controversial opinion piece regarding Vice President Kamala Harris. In her column, Parker argues that Harris should step aside from the 2024 presidential ticket for the good of the country.
Key Points of Parker's Argument
Parker's critique of Harris centers on several main issues:
Job Performance: Parker describes Harris's performance as Vice President as "disappointing" and argues that she has become a "burden to the Democratic ticket"
Unpopularity: The columnist cites a USA TODAY/Suffolk University Poll showing that 52% of registered voters disapprove of Harris's job performance, while only 36% approve
Selection Criteria: Parker suggests that Harris was chosen primarily because of her race and gender, calling it a "combo tantamount to job security"
Public Perception: The columnist criticizes Harris for her "sometimes inane, rambling remarks and a laugh that erupts from nowhere about nothing obvious to others"
Proposed Solution
Parker's controversial suggestion is for Harris to voluntarily step down from the ticket. She argues that this would be in the best interest of the country, given concerns about President Biden's age and perceived decline. As an alternative, Parker has also proposed replacing Harris with Hillary Clinton on the 2024 ticket. She argues that Clinton, despite her own advanced age, could reassure voters about potential succession if needed during a second Biden term.
Reactions and Implications
Parker's opinion piece has sparked debate about the role of identity politics in candidate selection and the challenges facing the Democratic ticket in 2024. It also highlights ongoing concerns about President Biden's age and fitness for office, as well as the perceived strengths and weaknesses of his chosen running mate
. It's important to note that Parker's views are her personal opinion and do not necessarily reflect broader sentiment within the Democratic Party or among voters. The suggestion to replace a sitting Vice President is highly unusual and would likely face significant political obstacles if seriously
Democrats fear Kamala Harris can’t beat any GOPer in 2024, including Trump: report Samuel Chamberlain
Officials are reportedly concerned a series of missteps and blunders by VP Kamala Harris could cost Democrats the White House in 2024. AP
Democrats are increasingly fearful Vice President Kamala Harris’ missteps will open the door for Republicans to regain the White House, a new report said Friday.
Dems, including senior White House officials, fear that Harris will lose to any Republican she faces — including former President Donald Trump — if President Biden does not seek reelection in 2024, Axios reported.
At 56, Harris is more than two decades Biden’s junior — and has been considered the heir apparent to the 46th president since he selected her to be his running mate last year.
While Harris will still be the presumptive nominee if Biden becomes the first president since Lyndon Johnson to not seek a second full term, Axios reports that a series of blunders have left officials and operatives concerned.

Right now, one operative told Axios, the feeling among Democrats isn’t “‘Oh, no, our heir apparent is f—ing up, what are we gonna do?’ It’s more that people think, ‘Oh, she’s f—ing up, maybe she shouldn’t be the heir apparent.'”
Harris has repeatedly been criticized for her handling of the illegal immigration crisis along the US-Mexico border, a problem Biden dumped in her lap in March by tasking her to deal with the “root causes” of the issue.
The vice president initially ignored calls for her to visit the area, instead traveling to Guatemala and Mexico last month. While there, she shrugged off more questions about when she would visit the border, telling NBC’s Lester Holt that “I haven’t been to Europe” before adding, “I don’t understand the point that you’re making.”

That moment, which at least one commentator described as worthy of Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ character on the HBO show “Veep,” was followed last week by Harris traveling to El Paso, a perfunctory visit that took her hundreds of miles from the epicenter of the border crisis. Then, earlier this week, Politico dropped a bombshell report that described Harris’ office as “chaotic” with a “tense and at times dour” atmosphere.
“People are thrown under the bus from the very top, there are short fuses and it’s an abusive environment,” one of Politico’s nearly two dozen sources told the outlet. “It’s not a healthy environment and people often feel mistreated. It’s not a place where people feel supported but a place where people feel treated like sh–t.”
According to Axios, several White House officials have also described Harris’ office as a “sh—tshow,” poorly managed, and staffed with people who don’t know the vice president well.
Much of the blame has landed at the door of Harris Chief of Staff Tina Flournoy, who is depicted as so controlling and overly protective of the VP that requests for meetings and friendly interviews languish unanswered for weeks. Flournoy has also been accused of dismissing or ignoring staff ideas and refusing to delegate responsibility.

The Democratic officials who spoke to Axios said that in addition to Harris’ “handling of high-profile issues and political tone deafness,” they fear she’s been given bad advice by her press and communications people.
Harris still has her defenders, including senior adviser and chief spokesperson Symone Sanders, as well as White House senior adviser Cedric Richmond, who accused unnamed people of carrying out “a whisper campaign designed to sabotage her.”
“At some point it just becomes, one person says something long enough and it becomes an urban legend. It doesn’t have to be credible. It doesn’t have to be real. Someone says something and it can just snowball,” Richmond told Axios, later adding: “You’d just hope if there’s a legitimate criticism they’d put their name next to it.”
Meanwhile, White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain offered unreserved praise for Harris, telling Axios she was “off to the fastest and strongest start of any Vice President I have seen.”
At a news conference Friday, White House press secretary Jen Psaki called Harris “an incredibly important partner to the President of the United States. She has a challenging job, a hard job, and she has a great, supportive team of people around her.
“But other than that,” Psaki added, “I’m not going to have any more comments on those reports.”
And Now the After Opinion The liberal media’s gushing over Kamala Harris is an embarrassment to journalism Michael Deacon
Donald Trump and his allies are missing the point. Yes, of course liberal media outlets in the US are biased towards Kamala Harris. They’re always biased towards the Democrats’ candidate. Nothing new there.
What makes their behaviour right now so remarkable is not that they’re being partisan…. It’s that they’re willing to be partisan even though the object of their adulation has been giving them absolutely nothing in return. They’re cheerleading for someone who won’t even speak to them.
It’s now over a month since Joe Biden announced that he was making way. Yet, at the time of writing, Ms Harris has still to hold a single press conference. She has also still to do a single formal interview. Journalists are long used to politicians dodging their questions. But, at least, they normally get to ask them.
If a Republican candidate followed such an approach, these liberal media outlets would – quite rightly – be scandalised.
They would bellow:
“Why are the GOP evading press scrutiny in this shameless manner?............ Do they think their candidate is too gormless and inept to cope with a simple interview? ……………..Are they tacitly admitting that their candidate’s record is so poor, they’re incapable of defending it?............. Or are they just arrogant? Do they think they’re above answering questions about their policies – if, indeed, they have any policies?”
Ms Harris’s approach, however, doesn’t appear to trouble them at all. They seem perfectly happy to carry on portraying her as Mandela, Gandhi and Beyoncé rolled into one. After Ms Harris declined to be interviewed by Time magazine, it, none the less, ran a gushing cover feature that congratulated her on pulling off “the swiftest vibe shift in modern political history”, and squealed that the excitement around her campaign is reminiscent of “the early days of Barack Obama”.
One US journalist, believe it or not, has actually applauded Ms Harris for not talking to the press yet. Dick Polman, a commentator who was once described by ABC News as “one of the finest political journalists of his generation”, wrote a column last week praising her for being “smart enough” to know that, at this stage, “she doesn’t need to fence with the Fourth Estate. Seriously, why should she?” After all, he explained, “Her answers on policy will inevitably be sliced and diced and endlessly parsed on page one.”
Well, yes. As they should be. She’s running to be President of the United States, not leader of her local Girl Scout troop. Then again, if this is the attitude of the US media, perhaps organising a press conference would be a waste of time. The journalists would refuse to ask questions, for fear of undermining her campaign. Remember the bizarre moment during the UK election of 2019, when Labour supporters accused Boris Johnson of dodging journalists’ questions by hiding in a fridge? American journalists would be bundling Ms Harris into the fridge themselves. “You’ll be safe in here, Madam Vice President! Don’t worry – we’ll stand guard to make sure no one can ask you about illegal immigration till the votes have all been counted!”
Even if liberal US media outlets no longer care about journalistic scrutiny, surely they should, at bare minimum, be motivated by their own commercial interests. Interviews with the woman of the moment would cause clicks and sales to surge. So, they might at least have demanded she offer them something in exchange for their gurgling sycophancy.
Yet here they are, giving it away free of charge.
Still, I suppose they deserve some credit. Nowadays, it’s fairly common for journalists to quit the media for PR.
Yet some, impressively, have the energy to fill both jobs at once.
