The bottom line here is that the estimate of the cost of illegal immigration is between 150 and 450 billion per year. That figure becomes cumulative as more illegals enter each year. So if we look for an estimate from the beginning of the Biden administration we could conservatively already been in the hole for over a half a trillion dollars.. and growing. If we maintain the same open border for another four years under President Harris, we could see annual expenditures on immigrant welfare near 600 billion annually.
More recently, in fiscal year 2022, the federal government spent $1.19 trillion on more than 80 different welfare programs. This represented almost 20% of total federal spending that year. The COVID-19 pandemic led to increased welfare spending, with total federal spending reaching $7 trillion in 2020.
A 4th grader could see these numbers are not sustainable and will by any logic create complete chaos and collapse of the system.
