President Trump is threatening to expand strikes on Iran. He says the U.S. has not even started to destroy what's left of Iran. Here is what he had to say via Truth Social: "Our Military, the greatest and most powerful (by far!) anywhere in the World, hasn’t even started destroying what’s left in Iran. Bridges next, then Electric Power Plants! New Regime leadership knows what has to be done, and has to be done, FAST! President DONALD J.TRUMP"

Power Plants To Be Hit

Iran’s grid is over 95% dependent on thermal power (gas and oil). The U.S. has signaled it will "start with the biggest first," focusing on:

Damavand Combined Cycle Plant: Located near Tehran, this is the crown jewel. With a capacity of roughly 2,900 MW, it anchors the capital's grid. If Damavand goes down, Tehran faces immediate, unrecoverable blackouts.

Neka Power Plant: Situated on the Caspian coast, this is the primary source for northern Iran. It is a massive facility that is difficult to "patch" once the main turbines are hit.

Shahid Rajaei Plant: Located in Qazvin, this serves as the critical backup for the industrial corridors. The Logic: Military planners aren't just hitting the buildings; they are targeting the Long-Lead Time (LLT) components—specifically the massive Siemens and Mapna-made turbines and transformers that take years to manufacture and cannot be imported under current 2026 sanctions.

Bridges Already Hit (The Proof of Intent)

The B1 Bridge (Tehran-Karaj Highway): This is the most significant strike to date, occurring on Thursday, April 2. The $400 million, 136-meter-high suspension bridge was a "crown jewel" of Iranian engineering. Status: Destroyed.Impact: It severed the primary artery between the capital and its largest industrial suburb. Beyond the logistical damage, this strike was designed to shatter Iranian national pride and show that even the most modern, non-military infrastructure is on the table.

Bridges to be Hit

Priority 1: The Karun River "Big Three" (The Energy Sector)These bridges are the only way to move heavy equipment (like the massive transformers needed to fix a bombed power plant) into the oil-rich southwest.Target: The Sixth Bridge (Ghadir Bridge) in Ahvaz.Goal: To physically separate the Abadan refinery and Khuzestan oil fields from central Iran. Without these spans, the "Energy Heart" of Iran becomes an island.

Priority 2: The Alborz Chokepoints (The Caspian Link)Target: The Veresk Bridge (Railway) and the Haraz Road Spans.Goal: These are the "umbilical cords" connecting the Neka Power Plant and Caspian ports to Tehran. Dropping these bridges in the rugged mountains makes land-based supply from Russia or northern depots impossible.
