Gutfeld and Rogan on Authenticity
Segment #543
I vividly remember that speech when Barack was running for president, Michelle stated that this was the first time she was proud to be an American. That set off all sorts of alarm bells in my head; but even though I knew she came from a privileged background, I gave her the benefit of the doubt. On the night Obama was was inaugurated his presidency seemed like an opportunity to bring the country together. Instead this was a refinement of the branding and marketing of what you would want and not what you got in a leader and first lady. Michelle was lauded as perfection on everything from Vanity Fair covers to her potential role as president. The more exposure Michelle gets on her own the more she is perceived as totally inauthentic. Michelle is a figment of the imagination of Democrat politicians hungry for power and the grift that goes with it.
In a free society the comedians pull no punches. Gutfeld and Rogan are tough, raunchy, and also insightful.
