The UK and EU are heading in a very bad direction and it is difficult to see how this trend will change in the near term. Certainly under Trump there will be no tolerance for the EU or the UK to threaten US citizens. And if they want our economic and military support the UK and EU will be required to conform to democratic standards. Many Americans will not travel to countries that would imprison them for viewing a post on X. This world is nuts.
