Discriminating Against Women is Hardly the Spirit of Title IX

Segment # 141

Recently Riley Gaines was speaking at SUNY Courtland, a university in New York State, and was confronted with this sign in the ladies room. Note the Title IX in the bottom proper left-hand corner. It is sort of shocking that these morons would have Riley Gaines come speak and not take this down for her visit. Or maybe it is pure arrogance. This OK for your daughter?

This sign pretty much sums up the issue.

According to the sources provided, around 1.7% of college students identify as transgender, nonbinary, or questioning their gender. Additionally, the analysis of over 1.2 million college applications for the 2022-23 academic year found that 2.2% of applicants, or more than 26,000 individuals, identified as transgender. https://theconversation.com/college-students-are-increasingly-identifying-beyond-she-and-he-187338

Note that’s all college students so we must assume that the number of men identifying as women is even lower than 26,000.

So in summary, the most recent data indicates there are currently around 10.1 million female students enrolled in colleges and universities across the United States, outnumbering their male counterparts. This trend of higher female enrollment has been observed for several decades now and the gap continues to widen. https://www.bestcolleges.com/research/college-enrollment-statistics/
