Dining Out With Tesla
Segment #570
Tesla has officially opened its first restaurant, a "retro-futuristic diner" and Supercharger station located in Hollywood, Los Angeles. The long-teased project, which began with an idea from Elon Musk in 2018, is designed to be a unique destination for both Tesla drivers and the general public.
Here are the key details about the new Tesla restaurant:
Name: It's called the Tesla Diner, and it's located at 7001 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, CA.
Concept: The location combines a classic American diner with a drive-in movie theater and a massive Supercharger station. The two-story building is clad in stainless steel, with a design that draws inspiration from the Cybertruck.
Charging: It features 80 V4 Supercharger stalls, making it the largest urban Supercharger in the world and open to all NACS-compatible EVs.
Dining Experience: The menu, curated by chef Eric Greenspan, focuses on classic American comfort food with a focus on high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. You can order food in three ways:
In-Diner: You can eat at the booths or counter on the ground floor or on the rooftop "Skypad."
In-Car: Tesla drivers can order and pay through their car's touchscreen, and the food will be delivered directly to their vehicle.
Take-out: You can also pick up your order at the counter.
Entertainment: The site features two large LED megascreens that play movies, classic shows, and other content. You can watch from your car or from the outdoor seating areas.
Hours: The Supercharger station and in-car ordering are available 24/7. The public dine-in hours are from 6 AM to midnight.
The diner has been open since late July 2025 and has drawn significant crowds, with reports of long lines for both dining and charging.
