I lived in the Middle East for over three years and had the opportunity through my job with the US Navy as personal aide to Commander Middle East Force to meet many of the leaders from the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Iran. We certainly understood radical Islam; however, then over fifty years ago I don’t believe we fully appreciated the threats to Europe mand the United States. Over the past several decades this has not been a surreptitious movement with the threat silently creeping up on us. Islam has always been vocal about what they planned to do with the infidels. France and the UK may be lost with Germany in big trouble. It is here in the U.S. and time for us to deal with reality. Mamdani election as mayor as a Marxist radical islamist should alarm even the people in Iowa.
