CNN Protects Their Brand

I was dead wrong about CNN ambushing Trump. Instead, they decided to protect their brand and play it straight. Smart move with everyone watching on a simulcast all over the world. If they gave Biden the questions, it certainly did not help. For most people following politics, Biden’s frail condition was not surprising. Given this obvious fact Biden’s, staff, wife, and leaders should be strongly criticized for what they are putting this man and the country through. I can only conclude that Biden and his inner circle are worrying about their potential legal liabilities without the protection of executive power. Think back to special counsel Hur…. He deserves an apology.
Given that obvious fact, the real concern should be for the obvious sign of weakness it sends to our adversaries around the world both domestically and internationally. Many might see this instability as a perfect time to attack. If our military and State Department are not totally in the tank, they certainly should be increasing their defense posture around the world. Think about also the potential 100,000 bad actors we let into our country. These are shaky times.
