Our system depends on the unassailable right of free speech with the media holding all politicians accountable for what they say or do. When media becomes a lap dog for one political group then there is little difference between media in China, Russia, or many banana republics around the world. We are losing this right as a consequence of our slide towards censorship and bias. The United States ranked 30th in the world for freedom of expression, with a 9-point drop in its score over the past decade, putting it in the lowest quartile globally. This transcends politics as it slowly erodes our way of life. In the political ad below you will see quite clearly that Trump was taken out of context. It was clearly a lie and it was meant to manipulate the electorate. With Big Tech directing the algorithms you restricts and controls what you see.
