At today's Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) pointed to a report that says that the Biden-era FBI targeted several Republican Senators.
At the moment names are redacted from the investigation. You can bet those individuals are lawyering up now in preparation for investigations from both the DOJ and Congress. It appears that the Dems are playing hardball only because they know how guilty they really are.

Synopsis
Under President Joe Biden, the FBI launched "Arctic Frost". It probed a conspiracy to keep Donald Trump in office after the 2020 election. Senator Chuck Grassley released a report alleging FBI misconduct. The report says the probe targeted Republican groups and individuals. Charlie Kirk's organization, Turning Point USA, was also investigated. Kirk was recently killed in Utah.
What was Arctic Frost?
Arctic Frost is a joint investigation between the FBI, DOJ Office of Inspector General (OIG), U.S. Postal Inspection Service, and National Archives and Records Administration (OIG). The case was opened in April 2022 and Special Counsel Jack Smith was assigned to take charge in November 2022. Senator Grassley highlighted he made public records that whistleblowers provided me about Arctic Frost.

Subpoenas: over 400 served; 300 for witness testimony records; 200 selectors; 20 financial
